Christopher B. Cummings Jr. Obituary, Death – Marrowbone Community Mourns 23-Year-Old

Christopher B. Cummings Jr., 23, of Marrowbone, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at his residence. His unexpected passing has left his family, friends, classmates, and loved ones mourning the loss of a young man whose life was cut short.

Christopher was born on November 28, 2002, in Orlando, Florida, to Christopher B. Cummings Sr. of Florida and the late Brandi Jo Price. He was a student at the University of Pikeville.

Christopher is survived by his father, Christopher B. Cummings Sr.; his brother, Anthony Cummings of Marrowbone; his sister, Ashley Mullins of Lexington; his grandmother, Eva Price of Marrowbone; and his uncle, Jordan Price of Marrowbone.

His passing has brought profound sadness to those who knew him. Family members and friends are now coming together to remember Christopher and support one another during this difficult period.

Funeral Services

Funeral services for Christopher B. Cummings Jr. will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Hall & Jones Funeral Home, with Morris Thacker officiating. Burial will follow at the Price Family Cemetery at Elkhorn.

Visitation will begin Friday after 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home, with services scheduled to begin at 7:00 p.m.
